This Wizard customer has become a local “hero” in his hometown.

From Custom Framing Pro to Ambassador of Kindness

By Steve Hartman, CBS

When one of our very own, Wizard customer Greg Dailey, Co-Owner of Frames On Main in Chatham, New Jersey, was forced to close his frame shop in March due to the COVID-19 outbreak, he shifted his focus from framing to delivering groceries to seniors along with their newspapers.

Greg had already been delivering newspapers as a side job for the past 25 years, when one day one of his elderly customers left him a note asking if he could leave her newspaper closer to her house to make it easier for her to get. So he obliged without giving it another thought, until later while he was in line at the grocery store and thought of her. “If she can’t walk 20 feet to get her newspaper, how is she getting groceries?” Greg told CNN. “So, I called her and asked if she needed anything.”

He has a good heart and a great soul. He’s going straight to heaven.

Greg soon realized that many of his newspaper customers were also seniors who were unable to get out to buy their groceries and other necessities. And that’s when Greg had the brilliant idea to offer his assistance free of charge. So Greg stared offering to pickup and deliver groceries and other necessities for the elderly customers on his newspaper route, so that they could stay home and avoid the risk of getting sick. So far, Greg, with the help of his family, has made over 500 home deliveries to seniors along his route.

I don’t have enough adjectives. He is one of the finest people in the world!

We at Wizard are so proud to have customers like Greg out there making the world a better place—not just by creating beautifully framed pictures and artwork—but by their generosity and thoughtfulness for others. Greg and his family are true heroes, and something we could use a lot more of in the world.

Thank you Greg Dailey. We appreciate having you as a Wizard customer, and for what you’re doing out there to help others. We salute you as an Ambassador of Kindness & Generosity!
